Green/Environmental Initiatives: The Hotel is dedicated to working toward minimizing the environmental impact of meetings without compromising exceptional service. The Hotel will: • The Hotel will only serve food and beverage on china service • Non-disposable spoons will be used instead of plastic or wood stir sticks with any beverage service • Box lunches will be served in containers that can be recycled and in to go bags made from recycled paper • Cloth napkins and table cloths will be used • Beverages for breaks will only be served in glass bottles or aluminum cans • All condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, jelly, butter, sugar, cream, milk) will be served in serving containers, not in individual packets • In lieu of bottled water, the Hotel will offer 5 gallon Ozarka water jugs with accompanying sliced lemons, limes or oranges at a cost of $75.00 per jug. Glasses will be used in lieu of paper cups. • Recycle bins will be placed in hallways of meeting space for glass, white paper, newspapers, cans • Attendees are given the option of room linens and towels being replaced every third day to every day • The Hotel can provide paperless check-in, eliminating registration cards and signatures during the check-in process • The Hotel will have a special recycle container at its loading dock for all recycle materials to be collected and taken away by a recycle company • The Hotel can purchase local and/or organic products at request of Group, however menu pricing may be affected
