Green Teams

Goals and Progress
Hyatt EcoTrack is a web-based tool that monitors and measures Hyatt’s environmental impact by gathering monthly data from the company’s properties to help it benchmark performance and drive improvement. Hyatt began measuring key environmental metrics in 1994, and is making progress toward the environmental goals it set for its managed, full-service hotels to reach by 2015.

These goals include:
 Reducing energy consumption per square meter by 25 percent from 2006 levels
 Reducing water consumption per guest night by 20 percent from 2006 levels
 Reducing greenhouse gas emissions per square meter by 25 percent from 2006 levels
 Reducing waste sent to landfills per guest night by 25 percent from 2010 levels
