Lawyers will tell you whether you’re giving alcohol away or selling it at an event, anyone who has control over the facility or the event is typically liable if an intoxicated person causes bodily injury or property damage as a result of the liquor served at that event.

The good news is, provided the meeting planner isn't pouring the drinks, they normally would not be at much risk of being held personally liable.

Run by U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Toys for Tots began in 1947, when 5,000 toys were collected outside Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles and given to local children. Since the nonprofit's launch, more than 500 million holiday gifts have been donated and distributed to underprivileged kids throughout the country.



The U.S. Postal Service delivers 20 billion cards and packages between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

-Santa eats approximately 336,150,386 cookies each Christmas Eve
-He drinks 5,908,893 gallons of milk (this would fill 9 Olympic-sized swimming pools!)

Snowflake Hot Cocoa

2 c whipping cream
6 c milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 (12 oz) package white chocolate chips
Whipped cream; candy canes (garnish)

1. Stir together the whipping cream, milk, vanilla, and white chocolate chips in a slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture is hot and chocolate chips are melted. Stir again before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and candy canes, as desired.

Serves 10
