While we had financial losses, the meeting itself was great because our members supported the necessity of sharing information and networking. Without the help of our meeting company, Meetings and Events USA - www.yournextmeeting.com, it would have been a lot tougher. We couldn't do it without them. Conferences serve a sound purpose and for associations, they are part of the objective to promote and grow an industry. Our association went forward with our annual Conference and Exhibition in San Diego, but it was an uphill struggle.
