Is a quick reply from a hotel to a group request, say within 4 to 5 hours, mean they have a better chance of closing the deal?

Do meeting planners prefer a hotel reply by email or phone?

I saw a recent post about all this web 2.0 elements at conferences now. Check out http://www.centernetworks.com/live-streaming-broadcasting-conferences

This guy has had it with it all. I wonder what your readers think?

We just started doing a podcast called http://www.meetingspodcast.com and we have mentioned conventionplanit a few times. I really think the added technology can be a bonus but it also can take away from the actual purpose - to meet face to face to network and learn.

Great blog and I look forward to following the conversation.

Do you think Group Sales people at Hotels and venues should have their CMP?

So they understand what the meeting planners needs are?

    Thanks
